Past Work
For this project, my task was to create a portrait of myself using various tools and techniques in Adobe Illustrator. I began by using a picture of myself as a template to outline important features of my hair, face, and clothing using the pen tool. I then proceeded to fill in my outlines with color similar to my skin tone and added some lighting effects/ shadows using the mesh tool. Finally I completed my project by creating a background using a color to compliment my skin tone, and a gradient tool to make it POP! Aside from learning how to use and manipulate the tools in Adobe Illustrator, I also had the opportunity to practice my communication and thinking skills. Whenever I needed help, I reached out to my classmates and vice versa. However, before reaching out, I would trouble shoot to look for solutions first.
For this assignment, I used the segment tool and the gradient tool to create a shield. I also learned how to group shapes together in order to move them simultaneously and duplicate them. This came in handy when I created the checkered piece above the shield,which saved me time.
For this assignment, I created a vase using Illustrator. This was my first time making a 3D image. I used techniques such as 3D revolve, and the gradient tool to make this image come to life.
For this assignment, I created a bag using various tools in Illustator. I used the pen tool to create a rough outline of my bag, and the proceded to fill it in with different shades of brown using the mesh tool. I also used the mesh tool to create somewhat of a gradient to mimic shadows.

Drag and drop game
For this project, I created a drag and drop game using Adobe Flash and Adobe Illustrator. Some challenges that I faced were when it came to coding for each individual object in flash. My game had a total of 47 drag-able items, so the coding became very tedious quite quickly. I had issues where I would misname a certain item or my code was incorrect. It took various attempts to fix the issues,but I used my problem solving skills to work though them. Once I completed my project, I continued on using my learned knowledge to help the other students who also ran into similar problems like myself.
